Projects & highlights:
- Fresh tailings from Codelco's El Teniente Division are transported through a tailings channel to the flotation plant.
- Old tailings deposited in the Cauquenes Dam are extracted using hydraulic monitoring, a technique that involves injecting high-pressure water into the deposited tailings, breaking down the mineral and producing a pulp containing copper and molybdenum. This pulp is then sent to the flotation plant.
