Marathon Copper-Palladium is a fully permitted, shovel-ready open-pit Cu-PGM project in Northwestern Ontario, ~10 km from the Town of Marathon. It is 100% owned by Generation Mining Limited through Generation PGM Inc. The project will mine a Mid-Continent Rift-related mafic–ultramafic sulphide deposit hosted in the Coldwell Complex / Two Duck Lake gabbro, with chalcopyrite as the main copper mineral and pyrrhotite plus minor bornite, pentlandite, cobaltite and pyrite. Planned operations comprise an open pit and 10.1 Mtpa concentrator producing a Cu-PGM concentrate containing payable Cu, Pd, Pt, Au and Ag.
